Charles de Mills

A really attractive rose, but ours unfortunately does not have that exciting tint of red beet like the photo in the RHS Plant Guides - Roses, London 1996. And I also find its shrub a little bit too dissolving.

class: Gallica rose (Busard, before 1746)
height: 100 -150 cm
width: 120 -150 cm
American hardiness zone: Z4b (down to - 32 ºC)
bloom: once
