Beautiful time in your garden. I'm discovering Molinias anew. The ones in the first photo will become a gold color, yes?

Dear James,

Thank you very much. This year the weather was exceptionally mild, so the garden is exceptionally beautiful. Those three ones in the first picture are Molinia caerulea 'Variegata'. At the end of the season they become a gold color.

The newspapers here write that tomorrow and the day after tomorrow a strong hurricane is expected in New York. We pray for you.

We most certainly had a very strong hurricane. It's left us with a rather apocalyptic feeling. Thank you for remembering us.

Dear James,

thank you for writing me! I was seriously worrying. I hope you have no serious damages in the garden.
